Hockaday Members Show

Below is the painting I entered for the Hockaday Members Show in Kalispell.  I hope some of you will go see the show and vote for me. Ha Ha..
I loved this dog when I saw him and asked him to pose for me.  This is what he gave me!  He was so smart I had to paint him.
The show is tonight in Kaispell, at the Hockaday, which I won't be able to attend.  I will be up until December 29.

Kobe Jobe

Show at Bernices for month of September

Germaine and I hung our show last night and there wasn't room for one more painting.
We really have outdone ourselves.  Hope some of you can come to the opening on Friday night from 6 to 7:30.  We will give you a glass of wine and excellent company.  We worked hard this year to
pull this off.   If you can't come Friday the show will be up all month.

Western Art Rendevous

Germaine and I are headed to Helena to attend.  They are having a special tribute to Newman Maryah who was Bob Morgan's best friend and a wonderful artist.  Germaine and I have been getting ready for our Art Show in September at Bernice's.  The art work is done - now all we have to do is get it ready.  Come join us on first friday!  We will give you a glass of wine.

Wednesday, June 13, 2012

Well I'm back posting after a short break.  Took time off painting for reflection.  Now I'm back painting and as soon as I can get the camera to work with my computer I will post my new work.
Germaine and I are going to the Flathead next week to paint in the Hockaday's Paint Out and auction.  The auction will be at the Hockaday on the 23rd.  It should be lots of fun.  I didn't make it into the show again so will be there as support for her.  I enjoyed accompanying her last year and didn't have the strain of completing a piece for the auction.  I'm concerned for her this time as she has fractured her foot and might not be able to paint.  Anybody that paints outside knows it's very physical and very hard work.  If we go it definitely will be difficult for her.  She's tough and has really worked hard on her painting - she is painting at a whole new level.  I hope she makes it.
